    There is no way to get the user API key – the link you have in the plug in leads to an empty page. I wrote an e-mail to HelloTXT address, but have little hope that anything will be fixed.

    hello all,

    can I use the hellotxt in my ASP.Net Application, if so please guide me and explain me the steps, I have already got the user_key and the app_key.

    On another note, for me it’s posting only in Facebook. :( For some reason.

    I tried posting straight from Hellotxt it works on my Twitter and Plurk.

    The URL shortener does not work! All the shortened URLs that hellotxt posts to my twitter are broken making this application useless. Please help me fix this. my twitter is #realecig You can see for your self that ALL of the shortened links are broken.

    Aaron, I feel your pain. i believe there are 2 parts to the problem
    1) If the Initial url is very long then HELLOTXT truncates it.. how sad.. and makes it useless. i have resolved it (I cant find the original link) by replacing $link = get_permalink($post->ID); with $link = file_get_contents(“http://tinyurl.com/api-create.php?url=”.get_permalink($post->ID));

    2)Even if the short url are working the plugin gets the Title and body across and messes up the body. I would have hoped that the plugin would not have gotten the body across or provided the option in the plugin settings
